The vision of the Global Evergreening Alliance is to restore degraded agricultural, pastoral, and forest lands globally through nature-based approaches such as evergreening and regenerative agriculture. The Global Evergreening Alliance recognizes that these approaches lead to more productive and resilient landscapes and agricultural systems, providing small-scale farmer, pastoralist, and forest-dependent communities with improved and diversified livelihoods.
With 25 years of expertise in training smallholder farmers to adopt regenerative practices in vulnerable and fragile ecosystems of Central America, Sustainable Harvest International joins the Global Evergreening Alliance with the shared conviction that we can foster 'green' rural growth by creating an agriculture sector that produces zero net GHG emissions.
